The Danish American Archive and Library (DAAL) is not responsible for determining copyright status, nor does the DAAL guarantee copyright ownership, of any photographs, documents or other works of authorship that it provides.  Unless advised otherwise by the DAAL, any requests for reproduction of photographs or archives not in the public domain will be restricted to solely personal, non-commercial use, with no right to make additional copies or to publish the work.

Any printed images or those used in presentations, broadcasts or other public formats must feature the following line ascribing credit to the DAAL: “Image provided by the Danish American Archive and Library, Blair, NE.”
