Danish Evangelical Lutheran Church (DELC)(Grand View Church)
The DELC ("Grand View Church") underwent schism in 1894 with the splitting off of a group that formed the Danish Evangelical Lutheran Church in North America (DELCA or DELC-NA) in 1894 which soon after (1896) merged with the Danish Lutheran Church Association (DLCA or "Blair Church") to form the United Danish Evangelical Lutheran Church (UDELC), which dropped "Danish" from its name in 1946 to become the UELC. The UDELC and UELC were known as the "Blair Church" or "United Church." The remainder of the original DELC ("Grand View Church") continued under that name for many years until undergoing its own renaming and mergers.
