This collections contains audio interviews conducted by Niel Johnson, other recordings related to the persons interviewed as well as some recordings of events of historical interest. Most of the recordings were made as part of a "Local Danish-American History" proposed by Niel Johnson, Assistant Professor of History at Dana, in the mid-1970s.

Miscellaneous Recordings not archived here (in the online Digital Archive)

Some recordings (audio or video) are not included here due to constraints on the size of files that can be stored here. These are typically placed in DEVONthink and are archived on optical discs at the DAAL's office. In some cases, they may also be burned as playable discs (DVD, CD or even BD/Blu-Ray) for playback on suitable devices. Those files are listed here.
