Borup, Charles
Charles Borup (known as such in the United States) was born Michael Singlersen Borup in Haderslev, Duchy of Schleswig. Why he changed his name is unknown. His son Otto was born on 15 June 1861 (in contrast to Einar Vig's statement in this record) and lived for 25 years 4 months, according to his headstone.
