Argo-Admah Pioneers and Burials

Argo was a small community in Burt Co. NE 3 miles north of Admah in Washington Co NE. A small cemetery is all that remains of Argo. Einar Vig made records of Argo's population presumably because they were either Danish immigrants or descendants of same. These records appear to have been preliminary notes. They are somewhat disorganized and are not limited to the Argo and Admah communities; some list persons from Washington Co NE (e.g. from Sheridan Township) as shown in the 1880 US Census. Also included is a listing of burials in the Argo Cemetery (aka St John's Cemetery; Sankt Johannes) as well as notes and diagrams of its layout.
